Rent Book for UK property managers
Know what is owed.
See what has arrived.
Track weekly or monthly rent against tenancy records. Import incoming payments, review matches and see part-payments, arrears and credit balances alongside your property work.
From payment records to a clearer rent book.
1. Add the tenancy
Record the property, rent frequency, amount and payment reference.
2. Bring in payments
Import a supported statement. Where a supported bank connection is available in your account, connect it through the account's consent flow.
3. Review the balance
A payment that resolves to one tenancy contributes to its balance. Uncertain matches stay in the review tray for you to allocate.
A useful view of the exceptions.
Illustrative examples of how payment records contribute to the rent picture.
Paid
A matched payment covers the rent period.
Part-paid
Some of the amount due is covered, with a balance still outstanding.
Paid ahead
Credit remains after the periods due have been covered.
Needs review
A payment cannot be confidently assigned to exactly one tenancy.
Your bank receives the rent.
The money moves from your tenant's bank to yours. Plan@Job records and reconciles incoming payment information; it does not hold the rent or initiate a Direct Debit through this feature.
Do I have to connect a bank?
Statement import provides a route without connecting a bank account. Supported bank-feed availability depends on the setup shown in your account.
What happens when a reference is unclear?
Payments that resolve to no tenancy or more than one tenancy are left unmatched for review. They are not silently allocated to a guessed tenant.
Can I use this for weekly rent?
Rent Book supports weekly and monthly rent periods. Choose the correct frequency and due date when setting up the tenancy.
Does this include automatic tenant reminders?
Automatic tenant reminders and tenant-facing rent links are not included in the workflow described here.
