I already have a contractor account. Do I need another one?
No. Operator describes the existing contractor account that runs clients, subcontractors and operations. Sign in to your existing account.
How is an operator different from a main contractor?
A main contractor commissions work from an operator. The operator manages delivery. A business may perform either role in different commercial relationships; use the appropriate account and access for the work involved.
Can I bring work that did not come from the marketplace?
Yes. The operator workflow includes private jobs and existing clients as well as marketplace work.
Is an operative another name for an operator?
No. An operative is an individual on the delivery team. The operator is the business organising the job.
