For main contractors

Give your projects an operator
to manage delivery.

Work with an operator business that organises subcontractors, coordinates delivery and keeps the records together. Plan@Job gives you a place to follow the jobs, shared quotes and evidence.

Know who is responsible for what.

Main contractor

You commission the work, review the agreed scope and price, and follow the evidence shared with you.

Operator

The contractor business managing delivery: coordinating subcontractors and its own team, managing compliance records and keeping you updated.

Subcontractor

The external business carrying out the scope assigned by the operator. An in-house operative is a member of the delivery team.

Follow the work without running the operator's desk.

Review the client-facing job information, shared quotes and photos, and keep in touch through the job. The operator manages its internal stages and subcontractor costs separately.

An operator can use AI staff to help gather missing job information, follow up on quotes and proposed dates, and prepare financial actions for approval. The operator business remains responsible for the service it supplies.

Start with the job link from your operator.

Open the job link your operator sends you. Save or request access to that job using the same email address, then sign in to your client portal to follow your saved work.

  1. Ask your operator to share the relevant job link with your email address.
  2. Follow the access steps on that link.
  3. Return to your portal to find the jobs you have saved or requested.

If your business will also organise subcontractors and deliver work for its own clients, explore the operator account and its onboarding. The two roles describe different responsibilities.

Before you get started

Does creating an account hire an operator for me?

No. You agree the delivery service with the operator business. Plan@Job supports the relationship and job information; a software account does not automatically include a managed service.

Why can I not see every job from my company?

The client portal shows jobs you have saved or requested access to. Open the relevant link from your operator using the same email address to establish the appropriate access.

Does AI sign off compliance for us?

AI staff support specific administrative workflows. The operator and responsible people still need to check the relevant documents, requirements and work. AI staff do not certify compliance.
