For UK construction and maintenance firms

Compare UK tender tools

Plan@Job Tenders is free for verified contractor organisations. Find public work, keep a bid pipeline, and see published awards and expiring contracts without a tender subscription.

This is our own comparison. Other tools have real strengths, including private construction project leads, deeper spend data and bid-writing products. Government notices are also available free from the original portals.

What comes free with Plan@Job Tenders

  • Open opportunities and planned procurements
  • Trade matching and configurable distance alerts
  • A private pipeline to track opportunities
  • Published winners and contract values, where disclosed
  • Ending-soon contracts with the incumbent, where disclosed
  • Links to the original notice and submission portal

Verification is required before you can use Tenders. There is no paid tender subscription to renew. Notice fields can be missing, dates can change and a notice is never a guaranteed job. Check the buyer's original notice before bidding.

Coverage has gaps: Northern Ireland local portal not covered yet. Find a Tender still carries Northern Ireland buyers under the Procurement Act. Scottish local coverage and Welsh legacy or below-threshold coverage depend on the available source feeds; this is not a promise of every UK opportunity.

Prices, free access and renewal terms

Figures are as published on each vendor's own linked pages on 5 November 2026 and may change. They are not quotes, and VAT, billing periods and seat limits can differ. Where a vendor does not publish a price or renewal term, we say so rather than estimate it; that does not mean there is no automatic renewal. Check current terms with the vendor.

Choose the coverage you need

For public construction and maintenance opportunities, start with the original portals or a free tool that matches your trades. If you need private project planning leads, named sales contacts or a deep spend-data product, compare those features directly. A paid subscription can make sense for a different job.

Before paying, get the total contract price, minimum term, renewal date and cancellation notice period in writing. Compare the same coverage and number of users.
