Applications are one short Loom video - how to apply is at the bottom, after you've read the role.

First, what you're walking into

Plan@Job didn't start as a product. It started as our own tool. Almost two years ago, our operations team sat down with a team of web developers. One side ran the jobs. The other side turned how we run them into systems. Screen by screen, until the whole operation lived in one place. The operations side is led by Mohamed El Hadri - you might know him as mointhemarket. He's got his part in the platform, and his job in it is the growth.

Ten thousand plus real jobs sit behind it. Small repairs. Larger construction works. All of it run through our own companies. Every screen exists because a live job needed it. Nothing in there is theory. And it sits in the middle of everything built around one keyword: construction arbitrage.

For almost two years it was ours only. And honest truth, it wasn't finished. We still needed other tools around it. Not anymore. Everything is in now. A contractor opens it and builds a whole network from inside it. Subcontractors on one side. Clients on the other.

Now it opens to the public. And there's no checkout page. You don't buy your way in. Access is a referral, and a referral comes after training. Three sessions. One hour each. One per week. That's the product we sell: the training. No training, no referral.

Team led by Mohamed El Hadri (@mointhemarket) · co-founder, Simpled Services · growth partner, Plan@Job

The role

We talk about one thing: construction arbitrage, and how work actually gets won and delivered.

You turn what happens inside our companies into content people want to read and watch. Real jobs, real numbers, real mistakes.

You will plan, write and ship. Not a strategy deck. Published work, every week.

What you'll do

  • Plan and write content across the channels, weekly, without being chased for it.
  • Turn real jobs and real numbers into stories people finish.
  • Work with the editor, so what you write actually gets made.
  • Watch what performed, and write more of that.

What we look for

  • You have published content that somebody other than your employer read.
  • You write in plain English. Short sentences, no filler.
  • You can learn an industry fast. You do not need to know construction on day one.
  • Fluent English, and excellent written English.

Don't send a Loom if

  • You need a brief for every piece.
  • You write to sound clever.
  • Publishing every week sounds like a lot.

No hard feelings either way. The seats work because the right people sit in them.

See the platform before the interview

Whatever the seat, the work runs inside Plan@Job - the jobs, the quotes, the subcontractors, the documents and the invoices all sit in one place. Have a look at it before we speak, and come with questions.

How to apply

No forms, no CV. One short Loom video, two or three minutes, covering three things:

1

A little introduction

Who you are, where you're based, what you're doing right now.

2

What you've done in this kind of work

The jobs you've held, how long you've been at it, and one thing you owned end to end. Honest beats impressive.

3

Why this role
